According to article #241 of the Election Code, the CEC is to announce the results of the municipal elections within 25 days after the election day.
According to the Calendar Plan, the events and activities for municipal elections are to be carried out until January 17. The CEC has managed to fulfill this task envisaged in the Calendar Plan. In this regard, Azerbaijan newspaper has published a special article, which contains the names of 14 963 members elected to 1599 municipalities.
On December 23, 2014, the elections were on 15,035 members to 1607 municipalities on 118 constituencies. The CEC annulled the results of voting on 8 municipalities.
