APA reports that the event was attended by CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov and Minister of Communication and High Technologies Ali Abbasov.
Panahov told journalists that some polling stations have been supplied with web-cameras under the decision of the CEC: “In accordance with the requirement of Election Code, the web-cameras allow to observe all processes in the polling station except polling booths”.
CEC Chairman also noted added that it will be possible to observe the elections in Azerbaijan from any point of the world. At the same time, the unaccredited observers also will be able to observe the elections online.
Minister of Communication and High Technologies Ali Abbasov said that the automatization system of all elections is ready for December 23: “Cameras, as well as optic network system between cameras and stations have been checked. Telephone and internet system in stations and constituencies has also been renewed. Specialized post system also will operate on that day. Cyber security system has also been created”.
