Yasamal District Court told APA that the statement of claim was submitted to judge Ayaz Mammadov.
Rauf Arifoglu earlier told APA that necessary materials would be collected and submitted to the court as Azadlig newspaper is running a defamation campaign against him. He also said that he would appeal to the court against some functionaries and activists of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP): “I’ve sued Azadlig newspaper so far. Then the facts about the defamation campaign conducted by APFP functionaries and activists on social network would be collected and submitted to the court.”
