Baku. Yegane Lachiınzade - APA-Economics. Payment card owners of Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) have carried out over 70,000 transactions since early 2014.
Bank told APA-Economics that Bank VTB Azerbaijan doubled number of transactions carried out with the payment cards and exceeded AZN 70,000. As of December 1, the trade operations amounted to AZN 15 mln. Thus, total sum of the transactions during 11 months rose AZN 5.6 mln or 60%.
Sum of deals on cashing of the funds exceeded AZN 13 mln. AZN 10.3 mln has been withdrawn through ATMs. Cashing through POS-terminals stood at AZN 2.6 mln. Cashless payments via POS-terminals soared 56% to AZN 1.2 mln.
In January-November, online transactions tripled to AZN 700,000. Moreover, number of active plastic cards approximately tripled to 4,000.
