Baku – APA. The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has reported on last night’s weather condition in Lankaran-Astara region.
The National Hydrometeorology Department told APA that as forecasted before, from November 24 till the morning of November 25 unstable weather condition lasted in the country, sleet and snow fell in mountainous areas and was intensive in some areas.
The amount of precipitation was 202 mm (120 percent of the monthly norm) in Lankaran, 111 mm (72 percent of the monthly norm) in Astara, 25 mm (45 percent of the monthly norm) in Rvarud.
The water level in rivers of Lankaran-Astara region rose due to heavy rains and flood occurred in Boladichay-Diryan.
