Azerbaijan to resume sniper training courses

The trainings will be conducted by the SSMC Military Patriotism and Specialists Training LLC. All necessary conditions have been created for the trainings, training weapons and equipment have already been purchased.

Sniper specialists will be trained with the order of military organizations. Under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, citizens at military age – draftees - will be able to train in the courses. Having completed the courses and received a certificate, draftees will serve in army as snipers.

Note that, earlier the Voluntary Military Patriotism Technical Sports Society held sniper training courses, which were also attended by amateurs along with draftees.

Sniper training courses were suspended after the abolishment of the Voluntary Military Patriotism Technical Sports Society. Under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the SSMC Military Patriotism and Specialists Training LLC has been commissioned to hold the courses.
