The visit aims to strengthen relations between the Iranian and Azerbaijani media outlets, the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan told APA.
An 11-member delegation includes correspondents, cameramen and photographers of CBC and APA TVs, "525-ci" and "Uch nogte" newspapers, as well as AzerTAc, "Novosti-Azerbaijan", "Trend" and "Interfax" news agencies.
The visit aims at getting familiarized with Azerbaijani people’s potential in Iran's economic, cultural and tourism sectors. Journalists will visit Maku, Khoy, Mahabad and Urmia cities in Iran's West Azerbaijan province, familiarize themselves with economic and tourism potential of these cities and prepare reporting.
