After greeting Iran’s president, Pashazadeh noted that multilateral cooperation as well as religious cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, the two countries linked with historical and religious roots, will contribute to peace, tranquility, development of our countries, and the welfare of our nations, the CMB told APA.
Expressing satisfaction with his visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hassan Rouhani said relations between the two countries are at a high level and that these relations will continue to develop.
During the meeting, the sides discussed some issues of common interest to the peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran.
The meeting was attended by first CMB deputy chairman, mufti Haji Salman, deputy chairman, rector of Baku Islamic University Haji Sabir Hasanli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan Mohsin Pakayin, representative of Iran’s supreme leader Syed Ali Akbar Ojagnejad and others.
Note that, the official visit of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani to the Republic of Azerbaijan has today come to a close and the guest left for his country.
