Baku – APA. Russia’s law enforcement forces have found 174 kg heroin concentrate worth 500 million USD.

Head of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service Viktor Ivanov said they carried out a search operation in Ildar Nurimanov’s house situated in the Kolychev village of Domodedovo District, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.

He noted that the man was a former member of "Guys from Baku" KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) team.

“So many drugs had not been even found during the Soviet period. The heroin was hidden in bodyguard’s room”, he stressed.

According to Ivanov, there were 700 packages of heroin.

As a result of the special operations, 6 persons as well as the criminal group’s leader, a Tajikistani citizen, were detained, Russian sources reported.

They are said to have brought the drugs to Moscow from Afghanistan in banana boxes among fruits.

Nurimanov is said to be in Turkey now. It hasn’t been confirmed yet that he had connect with drug traffickers. Nurimanov will return to Moscow today. He will be questioned. According to the investigation, his bodyguards were dealing with the sale of drugs.

One of the interesting facts is that some Russian media outlets reported that a large amount of drugs were found from the house of Ilgar Imanov.

Member of “Guys from Baku” KVN team, Bahram Baghirzade told APA that that person was not a member of the KVN team.

“Neither Ildar Nurimanov, nor Ilgar Imanov was the member of our team. Perhaps this is another provocation by Armenians. They still can not accept the defeat they faced 14 years ago,” he added.
