He said that indifference of the international organizations and OSCE Minsk Group to the fate of Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, taken hostages in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, raises questions.

“Their inactivity in this issue overshadows the peace process. As if no one wants to hear us. Dilgam Asgarov, Shahbaz Guliyev and late Hasan Hasanov went to their lands. The Armenian side called them “saboteurs” and held an illegal trial on the day of the presidents’ meeting. Armenia's stepping aside doesn’t change the truth. The co-chair countries of the OSCE Minsk Group and other int’l organizations should exert pressure on Armenia to secure the release of hostages,” he said.

The political analyst regarded accusations, that the Azerbaijani hostages killed a teenager, as fiction, adding that it can be considered as a pretext to influence public opinion.

“Azerbaijanis were charged with the murder of an Armenian and Armenians killed three Azerbaijanis by attacking a car in 1967. Then, it turned out that that person was killed by his uncle. We witnessed many such provocations and groundless accusations,” he added.
