Baku. Rufat Ahmadzadeh – APA. “Armenia is directly responsible for taking hostages Shahbaz Guliyev and Dilgam Asgarov in Karabakh and holding a rigged trial against them,” said Azerbaijan's authorized representative at the European Court of Human Rights Chingiz Asgarov, APA reports.
Asgarov said that these persons’ being taken hostages in their own lands, standing trial are illegal and contrary to the international law: “I recommend them to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. There is no doubt that Armenia is responsible for this issue. The European Court of Human Rights confirmed this state's aggressive acts in the case of “Chiragov and others against Armenia” and it turned out that Azerbaijan’s facing aggression is an undeniable fact.”
