The District Police Office told APA’s local bureau that the incident took place in Garaghan Shiklar village of Aghdash district on October 20.
23-year old citizen of the Russian Federation, Ashrafli Arastun Fizuli stabbed 21 year old resident of Garaghan Shiklar village, Omarov Isgandar Galib because of a dispute.
Ashrafli Arastun left injured Omarov Isgandar on the street and came to Baku to leave for Russia, but he was detained by police officers in a hot pursuit operation, brought to Aghdash and handed over to the investigation.
Omarov was taken to Aghdash Central Hospital in critical condition and died there. The exact reason of the incident is not known yet.
Aghdash District Prosecutor's Office launched a criminal case on the fact, investigation is underway.
