The delegation has today met with President of APA Holding Vusala Mahirqizi.
During the meeting, the guests were informed about APA Holding’s activities and working principles of its media structures. Answering the questions of the guests, Vusala Mahirqizi spoke about the current state and developing trends of Azerbaijani media, emphasizing the importance of seeking prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijani and Iranian media agencies.
The visitors said the activities of APA Holding’s media structures are followed with great interest in Iran as well, talking about the importance of these structures, within or outside the country, in forming a public opinion.
Later on, the Iranian journalists familiarized themselves with the activities of APA Holding’s structures and had a talk with well-known journalists working here.
Spokesman for Iran’s Embassy in Azerbaijan Seyyed Mohammad Ayatollahi and media expert of the embassy Morteza Lotfi also attended the meeting.
