Armenians open fire during OSCE monitoring on contact line

Residents of the village met with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs Igor Popov (Russia), James Warlick (US) and Pierre Andrieu (France) as well as James Warlick’s assistant David Salvo who were going to conduct monitoring on the Azerbaijani side, the Defense Ministry’s press service told APA.

The residents expressed dissatisfaction with the lasting Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, failure of efforts to resolve the conflict, the Azerbaijani territories’ being under occupation, Armenian armed forces’ constantly firing on civilians, settlements, as well as non-military facilities.

Then the international observes left for the territory to fulfill their mission.

Shots were heard from direction of the Armenian military units before the Monitoring Group moved to the opposite side.
