Baku – APA-Economics. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 109.14 points (0.64 per cent) to 17,265.99 on Thursday, The West Australian reported.
The S&P 500 gained 9.79 (0.49 per cent) to 2,011.36, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index rose 31.24 (0.68 per cent) to 4,593.43.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index added 0.57 per cent to 6,819.29 points.
Frankfurt's DAX index jumped 1.41 per cent to 9,798.13 points, led by a surge in its second-largest company Bayer, while in Paris, the CAC 40 rose 0.75 per cent to close the day at 4,464.70 points.
