Baku. Javid Zeynalli – APA. Azerbaijan Writers’ Union (AWU) has held presented "Aybkitab.az" website, APA reports.
Editor-in-chief of the website, spokesman for AWU, Xayal Rza said that "Aybkitab.az" is a great project that involves several directions.
He said that these directions include publication of books, giving royalties to authors, introduction of new authors to the readers, book signings in the regions, etc.
Though it is the project of AWU, independent organizations, publishing houses will support us. For example, “Vektor”, “Yazichi” publishing houses, “Yayim Assosiasiyasi” and “Kitabevim.az” companies will support publication and distribution of books across the country. This website is a part of our new project,” he said.
Rza added that "Ayb.tv" internet television, "Aybru.az" website for Russian-speaking writers and readers will be established along with "Aybkitab.az" website: “The works are underway in this direction. All these websites and television will be connected with “Ayb.az” website.
Secretary of Azerbaijan Writers’ Union Ilgar Fehmi spoke about the importance of the publication of books under a single logo. He noted that this step will end retail publication of books.
He noted that "aybkitab.az" website would play an important role in the promotion of books.
