Baku-APAÅŸ Turkish Spor Toto Super League Trabzonspor is expected to sign Benfica's Paraguayan forward Oscar Cardozo, said a statement released by Trabzonspor on its website on Wednesdayç APA reports quoting Xinhua.
Trabzonspor will pay Cardozo 7.5 million euros (10 million U.S. dollars) for three seasons and 12,000 euros per match, according to the statement.
The Turkish club stated on Tuesday that Benfica will get 5 million euros as a transfer fee.
The 31-year-old Paraguayan international scored 165 goals for Lisbon club Benfica in 287 matches.
He also helped the team win the Portuguese Premier League title twice and played two back-to-back UEFA Europa League finals in 2013 and 2014.
