ICRC automobile comes under crossfire on Armenia-Azerbaijan border

Program Manager for Communications of the ICRC Yerevan Office Zara Amatuni said the ICRC delegation had gone to the border area at the request of Chinari villagers in order to promote compliance with the ceasefire during the harvest, APA reports citing news.am.

ICRC refused to reveal which side had violated the ceasefire. The organization’s spokesperson just said that shots had been heard from both sides of the border.

ICRC representatives has left the area to avoid casualties.
