Protest held outside ICRC Baku Office

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. A protest has today been held outside the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) Office in Baku on the Azerbaijanis taken hostages by Armenians in Kalbajar, APA reports.

The hostages’ relatives and public members participated in the protest. They expressed dissatisfaction with inactivity of ICRC and the lack of information about the Azerbaijani hostages.

ICRC official said that the relevant works are underway, although they will not inform public about many things in accordance with ICRC mandate.

Armenia media outlets reported that two Azerbaijani citizens – Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostages and another Azerbaijani Hasan Hasanov was killed.

It happened on July 7, but member of the ICRC Armenian representation have failed to meet with the hostages up to now.
