Allahshukur Pashazadeh: â€œSome mothers, whose sons have gone to Syria, ask me to return their sons back, at least their bodies...â€

Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. A conference on the extension course for religious figures organized by the Caucasusian Muslims Board has kicked off.

APA reports that Chairman of the Caucasusian Muslims Board Allahshukur Pashazadeh first prayed for martyrs and Head of CMB Fatwa Department Haji Miraziz Seyidzadeh.

The CMB Chairman said these days are the birthdays of Hazrat Ali and Heydar Aliyev: “These men have done a lot for science. Heydar Aliyev established the religion-state relations, and Ilham Aliyev is following this path. French President François Hollande said good words about the development of our country. Moreover, there’s a progress in the spiritual field, too”.

CMB Chairman said that religious figures should try to strengthen the state and develop the religion: “State councilor on multinational, multicultural and religious affairs of Azerbaijan Kamal Abdulla is attending this event. This shows the attention of the state. So, we should combat against our enemies together, those who are against our government. While we should worry about our occupied territories, Shusha resident dies in Syria. We should be careful about the confrontation between the Sunni and Shia sects. We shouldn’t divide between Sunnis and Shiites and let enemy take the opportunity. Some mothers ask me to return their sons back, at least their bodies …

50 Sunnis and Shiites will attend the extension course. Our goal is obvious. We also want to change, keep up the pace of a modern life. Akhund, imams should also keep up the pace of a modern life.”
