Vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament: “There is no information whether Armenian delegation will attend the OSCE PA session in Baku or not”

Baku. Gulnar Bashirova – APA. There is no information whether Armenian delegation will attend the Baku session of the OSCE PA or not, vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova told journalists. She noted that the OSCE PA’s 23rd session to be held in Baku on June 28 will focus on human security in the region.

Muradova said Azerbaijan is about to complete the preparations: “We expect the participation of delegations from 57 countries. Azerbaijan will host such an event on a large scale for the first time and we are well aware of its importance. It’s estimable that the OSCE PA attaches importance to the human security issue just in such a region. Because human security issues cause more anxiety in this region”.

Regarding participation of Armenian delegation at the session, Muradova said that this is the event of OSCE PA, Azerbaijan creates conditions for holding of this event and participates in it: “Everyone have been invited. Armenian delegation also should attend this event as representative of other countries. However, there is no information whether Armenian delegation will attend the session or not”.
