The press service of the Ombudsman’s Office told APA that the meeting was also attended by a doctor of the National Preventive Group. During the conversation with NIDA members, they did not complain about detention conditions and treatment there and their state is normal. Though NIDA members said that they have gone on hunger-strike since April 17, they didn’t apply to the penitentiary service leadership.
They were examined several times.
At the same time, the penitentiary service was instructed to regularly supervise their state.
