Interior Ministry’s press service told APA that Turkish citizens Gulec Mehmet Nuri aka “Firinci abi”, Kocoglu Himmet Uyar Qadir, Uyar Mustafa Kemal, Karagozoglu Nureddin, Omer GuzÉ™ddÉ™mirci, as well as Baku residents Fakhraddin Khanlayev, Yusif Dadashov held a meeting with 60-70 residents of Gabala, Ismayilli, Aghdash, Zagatala and Ujar regions at the invitation of members of "Nurcu" religious sect - residents of Goychay region Shahin Hasanov, Ilham Hamidov, resident of Gabala region Zakariyya Mammadov at Mammadov’s house on April 11.
As a result of the operations held by the employees of Goychay Region Police Office, 545 banned “Risaleyi Nur” books, brochures, 61 CDs, 1 weapon sight, 1 souvenir dagger, 1 bullet, 1 memory card, 2 cell phone memory cards, 27 shooting targets, 1 military uniform and 1 physical map of the world were seized from the house.
20 banned “Risaleyi Nur” books were seized from the house of Hamidov on April 14.
They were released after being questioned.
