Guba. Vali Turan – APA. “I feel that there are opportunities for some forces to undermine our tolerance, equality, religion-state relations, weaken our state and inflict moral damage on the state. Such aggressions have impacts both on the southern and northern regions. These cases are mostly observed in the northern regions in recent years,” Chairman of Caucasian Muslim Board (CMB) Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh said at the meeting with believers, APA’s northern bureau reports.

CMB Chairman also commented on those going to Syria for fighting. He said that some of our citizens are going to Syria, while our lands are under occupation: “They are killed there. Sometimes they are called martyrs. It is wrong. A believer should firstly protect his family and lands.”

Pashazadeh underlined the importance of joint fight against believers not honoring the laws of Azerbaijan Republic.

According to him, today there are all necessary conditions in Azerbaijan for religious people: “New mosques are being built. All conditions have also been created for representatives of other religions. Those who call themselves wahhabi, nurcu and takfiris should not pursue their policy against the Azerbaijani statehood. Each state has its own laws. If these people don’t obey the state laws, we all need to fight together with them, not only mullahs.”

The CMB Chairman said that the attempts by certain forces to organize provocations in Guba would fail.
