Kyiv. Mubariz Aslanov-APA. Former Azerbaijani council to Dubai Pasha Mammadov (Ilisuyiski) was elected a Chairman of newly founded Caucasus Peoples Congress in Ukraine, the congress told APA.
The new congress will include Caucasus peoples like Georgians, Chechens, Ossetians, Abkhazians, Lezgins, Ingushetians and other Caucasus peoples’ societies.
Armenians have immediately rejected to join to the Ukraine Caucasus Peoples Congress after they knew that Azerbaijani national become the chairman of the organization and noted that they would decide later.
The Congress is set on Caucasus peoples’ active participation in Ukraine’s social-political life and to provide their high attendance in parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
