Baku – APA. Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council has developed a plan to resolve the political crisis in Crimea, said Andriy Parubiy, Council Secretary and commander of Maidan’s self-defense forces, at his press briefing following the Council’s meeting, APA reports quoting RBK Ukraine agency.

“We have developed an action plan to prevent separatist scenario,” said Paruby.

Paruby didn’t speak about the plan, because it would complicate its implementation. He also noted the existence of a plan envisaging the involvement of international partners in the resolution of the problem. According to him, it was also revealed that except for small groups, Crimean people are not involved in the conflict. The main participants are disguised soldiers of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and Russian special task forces: “If the Russian Federation makes a move, of course, the Ukrainian army and border guards will take appropriate steps.”

Secretary of the National Defense and Security Council said they discussed declaration of emergency situation in Crimea, but preferred more efficient means. Parubiy said Crimea scenario was localized by the law-enforcement bodies.

“There is information that the scenario prepared by foreign special service agencies in Crimea was to be developed in other provinces of Ukraine. All strategic facilities of Ukraine are under the protection of Ukrainian Armed Forces. All necessary measures have been taken,” he said.

Parubiy said they also discussed reviewing Kharkiv agreement signed between Ukraine and Russia (by Viktor Yanukovych and Dmitry Medvedev) in 2010 on the deployment of the Black Sea fleet of Russia in the territory of Ukraine and determination of its status. He said public will be informed after concrete decisions are passed. According to Kharkiv agreement, Russian fleet’s stay in Ukraine has been prolonged by 25 years.
