APA’s western bureau reports that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said it at the press conference following the trilateral meeting of with Turkish and Georgian foreign ministers in Ganja.
He said that NATO would withdraw its troops from Afghanistan in 2015: “This process may be realized through Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. We have offered it several times, even held a presentation in this regard. We have instructed our Ambassador to discuss the issue with NATO officials. NATO has been offered to withdraw the troops from Afghanistan through this railway.”
