TAI presents Anka UAV for Azerbaijani Armed Forces

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Azerbaijan is studying the technical capabilities of Anka - unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) manufactured by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI).

TAI told APA that after the completion of the work on the project in Turkey, the Azerbaijani side will assess the adaptive capability of the drone. And then the sides will discuss the issue of procurement.

TAI is currently working to increase the non-stop flight of the drone to 24 hours.

Azerbaijan is also closely interested in armed version of Anka. The Azerbaijani delegation led by Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov was informed about both versions during their visit to Turkish Aerospace Industries.

TAI representatives have today presented Anka for the representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Baku.

They answered questions of the Azerbaijani side.
