Czech president appoints new cabinet

Baku-APA. Czech President Milos Zeman appointed a new cabinet on Wednesday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The cabinet, led by Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka (Social Democrats, CSSD), will take power immediately from a caretaker administration.

The move came 95 days after the Czech general elections in October 2013.

The lineup of the new Czech coalition government of the Social Democrats (CSSD), ANO movement and the Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) are:

CSSD:

Prime Minister: Bohuslav Sobotka

Labour and Social Affairs Minister: Michaela Marksova Tominova

Minister for Government Legislative Council, Human Rights and Equal Opportunities: Jiri Dienstbier

Industry and Trade Minister: Jan Mladek

Education Minister: Marcel Chladek

Interior Minister: Milan Chovanec

Foreign Minister: Lubomir Zaoralek

Health Minister: Svatopluk Nemecek

Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister for the Economy: Andrej Babis

Transport Minister: Antonin Prachar

Defence Minister: Martin Stropnicky

Local Development Minister: Vera Jourova
