Expressing his satisfaction with the next meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Military Dialogue organized in Baku within Azerbaijan-Turkey bilateral cooperation plan, the guest underlined that the military cooperation is based on fraternal and friendly ties.
Noting the activities carried out to develop the Armed Forces, Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov spoke about the military and political situation in the region and bilateral cooperation and stressed the importance of the resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh for the entire region.
Following this, they exchanged views on the prospect for development of relations between the Azerbaijani and Turkish armed forces and other issues.
The meeting was also attended by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun and Military attaché of Turkey in Azerbaijan, Brigadier General Hasan Nevzat Tasdeler.
