Baku. Shamil Aibayli - APA-Economics. Trade turnover between Azerbijan and Iran makes $532 mln, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Ayeen told journalists.
According to him, the trade turnover mainly covers non-oil sector: “There is also non-official trade between these countries approximately in the same volume”.
Speaking about construction of railway line between Iran and Nakhchivan Mohsen Pak Ayeen noted that the project is in the level of initial researches: Currently, we are mainly focused on the Gazvin-Rasht-Astara railway and want to complete this issue”.
Touching upon the problems in the border, the Diplomat said that border commissions and FM department heads of both countries have already started discussions: “These discussions will last until the end of today. Memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed. ”All borders will be included in that document”.
