Mugan Bank gets 26% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Mugan Bank’s assets stood at AZN 313.241 mln, up 25.8% from previous year.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 16.3% to AZN 222.224 mln, including consumer lending made AZN 46.412 mln, up 16.9% from previous year. At the same time, volume of overdue credit doubles to AZN 9.651 mln and its share increased by 1.8 percentage points to 4.3%.

Deposit portfolio grew 22.5% to AZN 110.615 mln, as well as personal savings made AZN 91.947 mln, up 22.0% compared to a year earlier.

Total capital increased by 34.6% to AZN 49.804 mln, including authorized capital rose 46.0% to AZN 41.306 mln.

Number of clients soared 13.0% to AZN 76,437, including individuals – 14.3% to 70,987, legal entities dropped 1.7% top 5,450. Plastic cards stood at 10,941, up 17.8% in annual comparison. Debit cards grew 19.3% to 9,921, credit cards went up 0.9% to 920.

For the present, the bank operates 30 branches, 54 ATMs and 659 POS-terminals across the country.
