The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a statement on the fire. APA reports quoting the ministry that several various types of cars burnt in the car pound in Nizami district of Baku.
The rest of the cars at the site were protected from the fire. The fire was extinguished at 14:40. Investigation is underway.

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. A fire broke out in a car pound of Baku City State Traffic Police Office. Witnesses told APA that it happened in the car pound in Nizami district.
A strong wind broke the high-voltage power line passing through the territory of the car pound. Fire blazed up after the power line fell on cars in the pound. According to preliminary information, more than 30 vehicles burnt.
The Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the fact to APA. It was said that a number of fire-engines were deployed at the site. The fire was extinguished.
Investigation is underway.
