The State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that ¾ part of the transportation has been carried out via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and in January-May this year, 13.8 mln tonnes of oil was transported through this pipeline, down 4.2% compared to previous year. During these months, 1.3 mln tonnes of oil was transported from Sangachal terminal via BTC pipeline, down 7% compared to last year.
In January-May, 8.5 billion bcm gas was transported via gas pipelines and compared to previous year, down 2.3% from a year earlier. 20.6% of gas was transported through Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum (South Caucasus) pipeline. During the reporting period 1.8 bcm gas was transported via this pipeline, this figure remained unchanged in comparison to last year.
