Deputy Minister said that the State Agency on Nuclear and Radiological Activity Regulation under Ministry of Emergency Situations has been appointed as a national competent authority and Crisis Management Center as a National Warning Center in Azerbaijan for joining the services of the Center.
He said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the cooperation with the IAEA to increase the level of radiological emergency preparedness as the response measures against large-scale nuclear and radiological accidents are not enough only at the level of enterprises or organizations.
