CEIBC member companies meet officials of State Migration Service of Azerbaijan

Baku – APA-Economics. Member companies of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club have met with the Head of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Mr. Firudin Nabiyev in Baku today (May 29).

Issues concerning migration legislation, development prospects in this sphere as well as issues that are of interest to CEIBC companies were discussed at the meeting.

Firudin Nabiyev spoke in details about the work of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He stressed the necessity of conduction of such meetings within the framework of CEIBC for establishing much tighter and more transparent relationship between government agencies and the private sector.

Firudin Nabiyev answered the questions of CEIBC member companies, discussed problems that they face. In particular, issues concerning migration policy and bearing legislative character were discussed.

An agreement about creation of the working group for operative response to problems that companies face when working with the State Migration Service was reached following the outcomes of the meeting. Firudin Nabiyev expressed his gratitude to the Club for an opportunity to find out about problems and difficulties, which businessmen face, right from the primary sources.

Addressing the session, Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC) Telman Aliyev provided information about CEIBC. According to him, CEIBC was established in June 2002 in association with Caspian Energy International Media Group and under intensive support of largest oil&gas companies operating in the Caspian-Black Sea region. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been a chairman of CEIBC. According to T.Aliyev, CEIBC promotes attraction of oil sector revenues into development of the non-oil sector. CEIBC is operating in 50 countries worldwide, carrying out an active work in support of the dialogue between government agencies and the private sector.

CEIBC honorary membership certificate was presented to Firudin Nabiyev at the session. New member companies were presented certificates as well.

Oil and service member companies of CEIBC held presentations during the event. Participating in the meeting of CEIBC were executives of companies, representatives of diplomatic agencies from Russia, Kazakhstan, USA, France, Ukraine, Romania, the Netherlands, Moldova, Austria, Poland, Turkey, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iran and other countries.
