Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. “Today, the international support given to us is thinner than a “napkin”. We use napkins to wipe off our hands. However, resolutions adopted by the UN, OSCE and other international organizations are weaker than “napkins” and good-for-nothing,” Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, MP Elkhan Suleymanov said at today’s press conference, APA reports.

Suleymanov said when a blogger is arrested in Azerbaijan, the whole world reacts to it, calls to impose sanctions, while it turns a blind eye to Armenia's aggressive policy and exerts no pressure on this country: “International organizations have never mentioned that thousands of Azerbaijanis were killed and held captive by Armenians. According to them, an Azerbaijani may die, because he/she is a Muslim.”

The MP criticized the OSCE Minsk Group for inaction and noted that they work in favor of Armenia: “Why do Armenia, the Council of Europe want Minsk Group? Because they are inactive. Time works in favor of Armenia. Time passes and after 25 more years a 50-year-old Azerbaijani citizen forgets Karabakh.”

The MP said that though 10 signatures were needed for the document prepared for submission to the Euronest PA on the state of Sarsang reservoir, MPs from "Eastern Partnership" countries like Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova did not cast votes.
