Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. President Ilham Aliyev has made tough statements at a conference on results of the 4th year of the implementation of the “State Program for socio-economic development of the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2009-2013”.
APA reports that President Ilham Aliyev called the officials to be modest and their relatives to respect high values accepted in the society: “The officials’ children have become insolent, insult people, who has given them this status? I have appointed the persons who they rely on, and if necessary, I will dismiss them. If I ever find out that someone's family member behaves like a hooligan, that person will be arrested and his father dismissed”.
The Head of State announced that it is unacceptable to forcibly involve entrepreneurs in work done in regions: “Each region has its budget. Funds are regularly allocated from the President’s Reserve Fund. These funds should be used. Entrepreneurs shouldn’t be involved in these works. Those who want can help, but in some cases, they are forced to do it. Entrepreneurs spend a lot of money, but they are not given their money back. That’s not right. If someone thinks that I am not aware of it, he is wrong. I’m aware of everything. Once again I say, the heads of all executive authorities should know that those who offend entrepreneurs will be punished. ”
Aliyev said the recent use of automobile accessories limiting visibility and facts of reckless driving are inadmissible and these actions will be decisively prevented, otherwise penalties will be tightened.
