Chairman of Youth Organization of Refugees and IDPs Vugar Gadirov told APA that protesting the writer’s “Stone Dreams” novel, which has been published by Russia's “The Friendship of Nations” magazine, NGOs demand to strip Akram Aylisli of “People’s writer” honored title, the order Istiglal (Independence) and other state orders and to deprive him of Azerbaijani citizenship.
According to Gadirov, his organization, as well as the other civil society institutions dealing with the affairs of martyrs, veterans, refugees and IDPs and the military-patriotic sphere will appeal to the court in the coming days: “Akram Aylisli betrayed not only Azerbaijanis, but also all humanity and human values by slandering and insulting his people.
