APA reports that delivering a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, NISA director Huseyn Panahov said the representatives from Azerbaijan and 17 countries are attending the event. The participants will discuss potential sources of contradiction in the Caspian region, energy security and military conflict in the Caucasus.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov informed about the importance of the region and its impact on the ongoing processes in Russia, Iran and Turkey. Famous scientists, experts, diplomats and politicians are expected to make speeches at the event. The session will end on February 9.
