Noting that the construction of houses is being continued, Minister said Balaken was affected more by the quake in Georgia.
"The first quake affected Zagatala and Gakh more, while the quake in Georgia caused more damage to Balaken. The commission continues its work in Balaken. Approximately 1500 houses will be delivered by May," he said.
Kemaleddin Heydarov also said that the activities are not restricted to the handover of the keys of newly-constructed schools and houses in the quake-hit region.
"We meet with the quake-affected residents, together with the local executive authorities concern ourselves with the problems they face in winter. It is our duty to deal with their problems," he said.
