The problems Iranian citizens face while traveling to and from Azerbaijan were discussed at the meeting, APA reports quoting IRIB.

Mohsen Pak Ayeen said that Iran unilaterally had cancelled visa regime for the citizens of Azerbaijan: “At present, there are Iranian students, businessmen in Azerbaijan, tourists come here. Therefore we want the Azerbaijani government to solve the problems of Iranian citizens, to cancel the visa regime, as well”.

In his turn, F. Nabiyev assessed the mutual discussions as a step towards the solution of the problems of the two countries’ citizens.

“Azerbaijan is interested in the solution of the problems of Iranian citizens. Therefore, it seeks a legal solution to facilitate traveling of Iranian citizens that has a great importance in increasing commercial relations,” he said.
