International oil-gas conference kicks off in Baku - <font color=red>PHOTO - VIDEO</font>

The event has been organized by British company Confidence Capital and Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.

The conference is focusing on discussion of trends and scenarios of development of projects in the Caspian region, the prospects of development of oil refining and petrochemical industry in the Caspian Sea, export markets and routes, gas projects in the Caspian-Black Sea basin.

Besides about 50 representatives from different countries, the conference is attended by leadership of State Oil Academy, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev, Head of Observation Council of Azerkimya IU under SOCAR Mukhtar Babayev, head of EU delegation to Azerbaijan, ambassador Roland Kobia and etc.

Lectures on provision of transport structure with strategic partnership, cooperation and global energy security, opportunities and perspectives of Azerbaijan’s oil-gas complex, development perspectives of SOCAR by 2025 and other issues were listened at the event.

Conference participants were informed about the projects realized in Azerbaijan, their importance for the country, as well as its role in energy security.

Note that, the event will finish on October 16.
