“Recently some human rights organizations, particularly Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, some German newspapers, even The Guardian have published materials and made statements damaging the Azerbaijan’s image. This work has a centralized propagandistic character. Recent anti-Azerbaijan propaganda due to Eurovision 2012 Song Contest is conducted by two places and one of them is Iran. They are speaking about unreal things and claiming that gay-parade is held in Baku. We warned Iran many times. I also visited this country. We told them don’t interfere in our affairs and we also will not interfere in your affairs. They hold anti-Azerbaijan actions every week after the Friday namaz. I don’t know where they get an idea of gay-parade into their heads? We host Eurovision 2012 Song Contest in Azerbaijan, but not gay-parade. There is no the word of gay-parade in Azerbaijani language.”
