Azerbaijani President inaugurates Astara Olympic Sports Complex

APA reports that the Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the Astara Olympic Sports Complex.

Azerbaijani President became familiar with conditions created in the complex. The construction of the complex located in 5-ha territory started in 2006.

There are all conditions for holding mini-football, volleyball, basketball, tennis competitions in 936-seat sports hall. The gyms and swimming pool with 172-seat stand meet the international standards. It is possible to hold different events in the guest room and the conference hall.

The Head of State also inspected four cottages constructed in the territory of the Olympic Sports Complex. The two-storey cottages can host 40 guests at the same time.

President Aliyev participated in the inauguration ceremony of the complex.
