Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. The library of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan presented 150 books about Azerbaijan to the Russian Information-Culture Center. According to APA, director of the library Mail Ahmadov, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin, members of the parliament, officials of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism participated in the presentation ceremony. Mail Ahmadov said cultural cooperation and such events contribute to the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
150 books in Azerbaijani, Russian and English were presented to the Russian Information-Culture Center. Chief of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Mehdiyev, chief of the public policy department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov, director of the Institute of History of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Yagub Mahmoudov and others are among the authors of the books. Ambassador Dorokhin welcomed the activity of the Russian Information-Culture center and noted that the Russian language is supported in Azerbaijan in the state level.
