Reports about attempt on Sulim Yamadayev’s life confirmed

Moscow – APA. The reports that there was an attempt on life of former commander of “Vostok” battalion Sulim Yamadayev have been confirmed. Ekho Moskvi radio station reported that there was an attempt on life of Sulim Yamadayev, but former commander was alive. Earlier, Reuters reported that Suleyman Madov, 36, Chechen by nationality was killed in Dubai. He was reportedly shot dead outside his house. According to the police, the killers had pursued him. Consulate General of Russia in Dubai neither confirmed, nor refuted the report about attempt on Suleyman Yamadayev’s life.
Suleyman Yamadayev faced charges under three articles in Russia. He is accused of killing two and kidnapping. Sulim Yamadayev’s brother Ruslan Yamadayev was killed in Moscow last September. Yamadayev said he did not believe that his brother had been killed by the order of president of Chechnya Ramzan Kadirov. He said some attempted to take advantage of the conflict between Kadirov and him.
