ISAF Commander in Afghanistan: “We highly appreciate Azerbaijani peacekeepers’ contributions to ISAF mission”-EXCLUSİVE

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. The soldiers from Azerbaijan are carrying out a force protection role within the province of Kabul (Regional Command Capital), and we are very pleased to have the contingent as part of the International Security Assistance Force mission.

Brigadier-General Richard Blanchette, ISAF Spokesperson told APA exclusively.
There are forty-two different countries contributing troops to support this international and noble mission, working in support of the Afghan people. While the challenges in Afghanistan are huge, so is the international will and the international effort to help the Afghan people overcome them. Your nation’s troops are a concrete and valued demonstration of that will.

As the Spokesperson for ISAF on behalf of General McKiernan, the Commander of ISAF, I thank your country, your soldiers, and the families of your soldiers, for their contribution to this vital mission.
