APA - Lithuania cuts salary of ministers and MPs

Vilnius –APA. The government of Lithuania decided to cut salaries of the managers and senior financiers of the state-run enterprises and organizations for 25 percent. The salary cut will concern only the state-run enterprises. The government intends to cut $1.1 billion of state budget expenditures. Other budget organizations will be reduced in pay for 10%, and ministers and members of the parliament – 20%.
