Minister of Finance of Georgia Nika Gilauri nominated for the Prime Minister

Tbilisi –APA. Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili nominated Nika Gilauri, the Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister for the post of Prime Minister. Gilauri’s nomination should be approved by the parliament, APA reports quoting Interfax agency.
Saakashivili called the government reshuffle as “pure technical” and said there wouldn’t be any change further.
Gilauri graduated from the International Economic Relations School of the Tbilisi State University. He got education in Britain and USA as well. Gilauri took the post of Minister of Energy before appointment to the post of Minister of Finance.
Georgian Prime Minister Grigol Mgaloblishvili resigned from the post on Friday because of health problems. He suffered from the blood pressure and received treatment in the Tbilisi hospital this month. Then he left for Germany to continue his treatment. The German doctors made a diagnosis of neuropathy.
